Has anyone converted a M1009/M1008 from the tripple V-belt to a serpentine setup??? Id like to avoid converting to a 12 volt setup, keep my two alternators, but this tripple v-belt setup is driving me nuts.
Still diesel? The '93 and up serpentine kits bolt right on, and you get the CS130 alternator as a bonus. I did it to my truck, sure is nice not having the blower slow down when I turn the headlights on. The P/S pump benefits too, only tough part is if you have A/C moving the compressor to the pass. side could mean new or custom hoses.
