I upgraded to the cs144 alternator on my 1985 K20, I used a 1986 belt setup. The 1986 belt setup used a multi rib belt for the alternator and v-belts for the other accessories. You only need to change the crank pulley and the water pump pulley to make it work. You need crankshaft pulley p/n: 14088683 and water pump pulley p/n: 14088685. Just another option for people looking to upgrade alternators. I also used an ICT tensioner that uses a turnbuckle assembly.
