I should have mentioned to test EGR valve before just replacing it. You will need a vacuum pump to check it. Some say you can check by pushing up and down on it to see if its stuck, but this doesnt work. If it doesnt hold vacuum then its bad.

Old EGR was sticking very bad. I could push it in but it would not move back.
I found a new EGR valve for $25 on rockauto, no more check engine light.
