Setting up my welder, opinions? (last post)

Hmm, well, it's been QUITE a while but, I am just now getting around to getting this going.

Thinking of going this route:
ER70S-6 wire (.035)
75/25 CO2/Argon mix

I think that was what I used in school and it seemed to work very well. Does that sound right to y'all? (it's been a while so my memory is a little fuzzy)
 
Perfect setup to learn the ropes with. The Lincoln MIG's weld smoother than the Millers too, so that's another thing goin for ya. No need for messy, smoky, dirty, spattery flux-core/dual shield yet. With the hard wire and 75/25, you'll be able to see the puddle/arc area and whats going on in there. Almost impossible with the flux cored stuff, as you've got a puddle of slag covering most of the weld puddle.
