I have a dilemma - got a set of the extended shackles - does the open end go to the rear or to the front? it looks like the spring cant have full range of movement if it's to the front. the write up in the tech section says open end to front, but it just doesn't look right. so which way do they go?

the super shackles install with the open end forward, the stock ones can go either way.
