She’s Too Young To Be Smoking!

Well if it's a head gasket it will be water with oil look like chocolate milk

I gotcha, it seems to run pretty good to have a damaged head gasket though. Is that a possible failure from smothering the carb?

It would be belching dense white smoke if it was coolant getting in a cylinder, especially the first start after sitting--and you'd likely hear it "bind up" upon a cold start after sitting when enough coolant got in a cylinder overnight,it'll tend to hydrolock a bit--the video has blue oil smoke showing..

Hope its not a head gasket but rather check then bend pushrods through the block......

I think I'm going to look at it tonight, change the oil and then drive it to work tomorrow. It's a little out of character for the place I work so it may cause a mild panic and the receptionist might hit 911, should be fun. :D

Ok here’s the quick list -

- Oil looked / smelled fine, changed it anyway.
- PCV rattles and hose is dry
- Brake booster hose is dry
- Valve covers have baffles which were clean, didn’t want to pull the cover itself so “go fish”.
- Coolant levels (rad / jug) are fine.

I didn’t run it tonight. Going to drive it tomorrow some and see what happens.

Sounds like just a leaky seal and a extended drive should clear it up

When mine blew it looked like. Chocolate milk and pcv was wet so was bottom of breather

Long time ago, one of my buddies swapped out the intake on his bomber stock car,, I walked up just about the time he stuck a garden hose in the radiator to fill it up..
stood there for a few minutes shooting the breeze... I glanced over and saw water coming out of the valve cover breather...
I said...uh...that can't be good!

he had let the intake gasket slip into the lifter valley on one end... somehow got all the bolts in, I asked him if he had any trouble getting the bolts started...he said yeah, a few..:haha:

LOL I didn't drive it to work, I'll take for a long drive this evening. I need to move my car trailer to get it out and I was running a little late this morning. Probably for the best, I wouldn't want to smell like sweaty exhaust in the office all day. :doah:
