I have one installed, I will try to remember to snap a pic after work.

I don't have any problem with my visors being at an angle even when turned toward the side window. I lined the inside of mine with that tan mesh stuff you put under rugs to keep them from sliding. It keeps the sunglass cases etc from moving around.
 
I have bought 2 of them in the past and made one myself in my Bronco's. I used them for the CB location and misc. item. Hell alot better than just laying the crap elsewhere without being able to reach it while driving. And the visor mounts lower, for taller people, that could be an issue, but I am 5'11, and it was not for me.
 
I had a rifle it in my f250 for a while. Was a decent place to store small things, but couldn't use the visors. Would not buy one again.
 
im building one for my truck now. I got a sheet of 4x2 steel and im going to make an overhead console. kinda have an idead in my head hopefully can get a good idea of what im doing tonight.

Well just make sure you do not make it too heavy. Last think you need s it come crashing down on you while riding. I used metal hangers at each end, and then pine 3/4" for the base plate and dividers to build the CB in center position and then a few small compartments.
 
yeah. im not putting mine where my visors are. im putting mine between the light behind my head and the rear view. with a compartmaent above it and the cb either inside it or below it. i havent decided. gotta come up with plans first
