Good afternoon guys, I just bought some 40" Groundhawgs mounted on Bart Super Trucker rims from a guy in Bushland Texas. I've got to get these to my freight forwarder in Medley Fla and I'd like to ship them this week. I submitted a bid request on Uship and I got 5 or 6 bids ranging from 240 to 1400. I reviewed all of the shippers and their reviews both good and bad. The seller can load the tires on a pallet for the pick up at his house no prob. My questions are; has anybody used Uship, if so what kind of luck have you had, and can anyone reccomend anyone or any other service? If you've had any experience with shipping tires or parts don't hesitate to let me know what to expect or if you have any advise I'd really welcome it. :usaflag:

You really cant give uship itself a review. Its simply a means of contact multiple individual haulers so one guy could be great and another guy could be a rip off.

Where are you located that their going to? If each individual tire fits within UPS' regular package size restriction I would send them individually.

Yeah Im firmilure with how the service functions. Basically I was looking for some feedback from individuals who had any experience with them or anyone else for this kind of haul.

I just used R+L carriers, but set up a business account, or go through a friend with a business account.

hope you did yer research as far as "DRYROT" goes;)

Good advise for anyone buying tires out of production or not! I did, they were mounted on the rims off the ground on a project in a heated building and I've got some good pics... FYI, I decided to use Bever Express out of Amarillo. I think a fair price, $340. Thanks everyone for your help.

I hauled 3 38" tsl radials on rims to UPS on a pallet. Colorado Springs to Eli, Nv. No big deal. But you have to take them to their hub.
