Anybody running these for 14" travel shocks? If so any pics and info on steering shaft clearance? I messing with the ford f-250 towers and want to do a vertical shock configuration on the front and by the time I'm done with them there's going to be nothing left on the driver's side mount.

Thinking about picking these up, here's the link:

If anybody has a pic of a ford f-250 tower mounted were the factory bump stop is on the driver's side that would also be helpful.

Jason, he's not a member so I don't know if he can see those pics.

Here's how I mounted my f-250 towers. They've been modified a bit

This pics shows how I modified the driver's side to clear the steering shaft. (driver's side tower is on the right)

This one is a support that is bolted on at the top of each tower, to well, "support" them.

what shocks are you going to run? My fox shocks don't fit in the superduty towers so I will just bend up a few towers

I made some out of 1.75" dom. Plated the bottom w/ .25" plate & use a screw in poly snubber style bump. I built the fronts off the factory location & made the rears come off the side of the frame. I'll add those pics to my photobucket album.

Looks like I need to spray down my engine and shocks so you all can get a better pic. I like this setup. Completely removeable, towers bolt on using one factory bolt hole to start with, then drill the other hole. I have a tab welded behind the tower and I use the factory motor mount bucket bolt hole and it fits so well.
I had a friend bend some tube for a removeable crossmember as well. I have no issues with this setup at all except I'll have to figure out something for bumpstops.

It's going on another frame, since this frame is bent, twisted and cracked and it messes up my shackle angle and shock travel.

in the pic above is the the bilstien 5150 shock? if so how are they working out for you? im getting ready to use the f250 mounths with my ezrdie 52 convert. and 14 bilstien 5150 travel shocks...
