Ratcheting "band clamp" aka "belt clamp" from your local tool or woodworker store.
These are the shiznit for compressing shocks and holding them in place while you bolt them down.

I've got them on the rear of mine with the DIY4X inboarding kit. I need to change out the fronts, but they seem to work pretty well out back.
Hey! Since you are in LBK, do you know of any hard tops laying around? I need a new driver's side window for mine, but they don't make the glass anymore. Used set up only.

drove it today after i fixed a u-joint that ate itself, what a difference it makes,I get the ones on the front and this thing will ride like a dream.(for what it is)

Ive heard of putting ford shocks on blazers, why? Whats the benefit?
Stock sizes for certain model/years of Fords are sized to fit our trucks with a lift and might be cheaper than buying a "performance" aftermarket shock for the lift.

i used rears just changed the bushings on the bottom,going to do the same on the front

so rears on rear, fronts on front. Sounds simple enough
