shocks towers..need help

I have just recently purchaced a blazer with a 8 lug 44,14 bff,5.13 and detroits...i wanna do 52s in the front dont really understand zero rates but im willing to learn more about them...the truck was a mud truck and they had cut off the shock mounts..what do i need to do for this i want to get flex..i have heard something about super duty shock towers..dont really know anything about fords...need some help...also the rear has a shackle flip were some one cut a whole in the hanger and just flipped the shacke throuh is this safe for the street..and im running 38.5 boggers so i need clearance..and i am on a budget

got any pics of ur rig? sounds pretty sweet. ford towers are used to that you can use longer shocks and also moves them forward a little bit, which is what you need for the 52's up front.
