Tell you the truth, I picked them because they are the only wheels I could find that were aluminum and looked period correct 
I like the look. But that's not why I picked em.
If someone made turbines in a 17" I'd do that in a heartbeat.
I searched all over and they were the only thing that looked correct for a square I could find in a modern size.

Probably won't be doing that paint scheme, as I remembered there's 3-4 around here with the blue and a stripe.
A charcoal stripe, a silver one, and a flat gray that I can remember off hand. So it'll probably be something else.
Maybe another one of the special edition designs, dunno.

I love turbines, but they're 16.5 90% of the time I think.
I was thinking wagon wheels when I seen them, but they don't look right if they aren't white, and I just don't want white on the truck to go with em.
