There's several million 700r4 equipped rigs out there...get a drive shaft from a pick & pull.

Well today was a good day. I scored a 700r4 out of a blazer and the drive shafts for 275.00. Transmission is said to be in working order. For that price I took a chance. It had a 208 behind it so my 241 should bolt up. I am also supposed to be getting the cross members and floor shift.

did you get the throttle valve cable and bracket stuff . and all the other little stuff ?

Well that's where I am in luck. The man that has the blazer bones just happens to be a transmission mechanic (retired). He has built many a custom 4x4. Mostly mud racers and heavy duty rigs. Also the man that sold him the blazer for parts sent me in his direction. This man also builds 4x4s for use. They have done swaps and specialize in gm rigs. Nothing but gm rigs. So I am going to get some hands on education I hope.

241 shift complete
700r4 cross member with mount
Drive shaft form 86 blazer front and rear with conversion ujoints
Lock up kit electric type.
External cooler kit
Still waiting on the support rod from 241 to transmission bell housing
Torque converter from monster. Towing type for big tires and lifted trucks.
