Should I go w/ CV shafts and an SYE??????

So, this is the closest to what I was hunting for,

I'm running a 208 now. I found and gonna buy a 208 next week, with a dodge back half so it's not a slip yoke.
My question is...........

Can I have a spare front CV drive shaft off a K-10 lengthened to use for a rear on my Afrika truck when I use the 208 with the SYE???
It comes with a clocking ring, if that matters.

Sorry about the "Timmay"!!! :doah:

Not unless the 208 has a flange output of course.

No, of course not.............but it can't be modified?
If not, what are my options?

There is a reasonably priced, good quality driveshaft shop in town!

It is a DD, by the way.

I think arizona driveline makes a flange for the 208 that bolts up when its a slipyoke, but I dont see why you couldnt just cut it down, bolt it up and go, but thinking about it, its 32 spline, so I dont see why any other flange wouldnt work in place of the dodge yoke.

A slip yoke eliminator is the best way to get rid of the bushing and seal issues- A bolt on style 208 yoke is not a real good idea -its hard to get it right- if you have the money buy the kit and flange and do it right- Jess

has everyone missed the fact that if you go with a SYE you are forced to do something in the way of a rear driveshaft. I am running a 208 with the factory slip on 8 inches of lift on a shortbed. the shaft has a 1 ton joint on the 14 bolt and a jump joint on the slip end. I have been wheeling very hard on it with 44's for years and have never had a problem.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.:doah:
