Gonna jump in and fix the notorious loose tilt steering and a couple of other steering column issues on the beast, 91 Jimmy, here in a few days. However, the steering wheel hasn't locked with the key out of the ignition since I purchased it. Couldn't find the answer via searching as to whether it should lock. I'm guessing it should. P/O replaced the ignition lock cylinder at some point, so I'm guessing something wasn't installed correctly if the steering wheel doesn't lock. Can anyone confirm so I can look specifically for what's causing the problem?
