Show me your lifted legal trucks

I've been following this truck ever since Matt bought it. He sent me a text the day he bought it. Told him that I hated him, and when can I buy it. Honestly, it's my dream truck. Correct color combo, best ever drivetrain, truck is so sweet. The stars actually had to align to make this happen. I had wrote this beauty off twice before she came home with me. I was putting diesel in her the other day down at the truck stop, young kid pulls up in his ranger/s10/idk, says to me " love your truck, f'n badsss". He's right, f'n badass. I love shifting gears up l-95. S**t so smooth. Sorry if I'm tootin my horn, I'm just so happy to have this truck.
Hell yeah dude toot your horn all you want that truck is gorgeous haha!

Street legal, tagged and insured. I should add that (thankfully) Alabama is pretty easy going with respect to lifted trucks.

Edit: legal yes but NOT a daily driver.

Ditto everything. Sometimes it's nice when the Alabama stereotypes are true. God, guns, and big trucks are still a thing down here. To be clear, my truck IS illegal down here. No cats, too loud, tint too dark, etc. But there are no inspections so it's tagged and insured, and police never cite for these things unless they just need a reason to pull you over.

Hell yeah man I wish ma didn't have inspections!

6" lift with 37's. It has been slowly been getting driven more than my DD does... Mississippi doesn't really care what you do with a vehicle. We recently got rid of any type of vehicle inspection.

In this stage, completely legal, tagged, insured, drove to and from the trail. Here in CO I am pretty sure they have bumper/headlight height laws but nobody enforces. Even driving around with no front and rear bumpers, never got hassled. For emissions test though they can only handle 33" tall tires, so had to put stock rollers on to get emissions test done. They also check for the all the emissions crap on the motor/cat's before they will run it.

In this stage...not so legal :cool1:. But the main reason is cause I did a motor swap (that is legal the way I did it according to the state of CO, but have to take it down to the county and have them inspect it and fill out some paperwork) and I removed the cats from the exhaust. But now it's a trailer queen. Maybe if I move to a place where I don't have emissions, I'll tag and insure it again

And this truck:

Look similar enough to have confused me multiple times. :doah:

It's the red accent color on the wheels that makes it so confusing...

Yup. I have mixed you guy's comments up many times due to that.

I blame him for getting better pictures, and preventing me from getting in the calendar haha

I almost said that, but the only gmc badge left on mine is the grille. And it's not even complete :doah:
