Shrunken Ned...

Pretty much long box, reg cab wheelbase. Should climb good!

When I got the cab at first I was like orange...no way...but it grew on me and now I love it...inside the cab was a used gallon can of the paint they used on the frame...I took it to an auto paint place near my house, asked if they could match it and how much to put it in some rattle cans? $22 a can...holy cow not a chance in hell that's happening..he says lemme check the paint, if it's good we can just use that..how much?... 7$ a can...dude your my hero

Went to the army surplus store I go to every other week and in a box on a back shelf I found these. He gave me to me for $20

So I'm gonna be running on propane...another buddy of mine built me a full roller vortec 350 motor to run on propane.... I picked up a gotpropane setup for it and scored these tanks at the Puyallup 4x4 swap meet...hopefully I have enough room to run two tanks side by side in the back.

cool stuff. Going with an exo for the front half?

it has a full cage inside already...and I hate exo's... the plan is for all the glass to come out and the doors are getting half'd..then beat the body and proudly show the scars

Here's some interior shots when I was cleaning it out..the b piller is so far forward to leave room for the jump seats to fold down (which I have and one is going in on the passenger side)..the top tube goes back to the roof above the rear window to a plate and then there's a second tube with a plate that comes off of the outer cage and bolts to the plate inside...sandwiching in the body in between. I found out today when I was checking it out that when they built it, they made the cage bolt thru the body into the solid body mounts built on the frame..so if you remove those bolts and remove the brackets out back you can lift off the whole body...gonna make painting a lot easier

Dammit now I'm gonna be late for work. Looks like a sweet build!!!

Coolers showed up today. Long one is 24 inches and is an up and back. Gonna use that for the tranny.
Shorter one is 18 inches and is a flow thru taped for AN8 fittings. That's for the power steering.
Ordered a triple flow aluminum radiator last night.

I have an oil cooler that's plumbed in line with the lower radiator hose coming that I won on ebay. The radiator coolant flows around the oil on its way to the radiator.

gonna hit the pick and pull and see if I can find a master cylinder or anything else cool

Found the required ford taurus fan at the junk yard...only cost me 40$ and it was sitting in the back seat already removed so I didn't even get dirty.

Got word today the motor, transmission and transfer case are in. Should have pictures tomorrow. I said that didn't care how much he had to cut the floor to get me a flat bottom...apparently it was alot. ORIs still haven't arrived yet. I think they got shipped via ox cart over the Oregon trail.
