Shrunken Ned...

It wasn't for lack of wire..I think I just need to ignore the numbers on the reg and turn the LPM up more

There just doesn't appear to be enough filler on the metal, like you were going super fast or the wire speed was way slow.

I suck at telling people what to set it at cause I never check. I just turn the dials till I'm rocking. Then I tend to not adjust much. All my adjustment comes in my speed or how I drag it push the puddle around. Sometimes I have more stickout sometimes less and on and on.

I know guys that will adjust their welders every time they do any different thickness. That's just not me

Not me either..I think the regulator is possessed and goes where it feels like LPM wise..it sputtered alot on the inside curves and the puddle would quit on me off and on..I had the heat on 2..prob shoulda set it on 3 and then turned up the gas..I worried I'd burn thru it and then have holes to worry about.

That's the reason I said tack tack ticky tack. You won't burn through. Just get an extra pipe, get the welder set, then do it.

But that weld you posted is crap and you know it.

Never said it wasn't. Don't recall ever posting I was a great welder either.

I put a sticker on the hood..hard to see but it's white jungle ferns to match the grill.

I had to pull off the steering brake mount to get the seats to line up correctly. Gonna re mount it after the pass seat goes in

I'm going to scout camp tomorrow. Just gonna spend the day instead if 3..so I can get some more work done on the truck
