Silly tie-rod question: '91 Burb steering damper

Hey guys,

Working on my buddy's '91 Burb and for the life of me, can't remember if the mounting stud for the steering damper is threaded into the tie rod or not. Maybe I re-used the stud when I did my K5... There are flats on the backside, but either way, that sucker is stuck!
