Skid plate compatibility

will this skid plate work on cross member with a 203? If I get another cross member for my 78’ can I rig this up to work for what Im going for... pictures below

Skid plate is from
“Came out of a 1985 Chevy Suburban 4x4Had a TH400 and 208 Transfer Case”

This is the later W style crossmember.
It wi not work for your setup.
I will check tonight hopefully I find the whole setup.
I have a dozen of the cross members but only one skid plate
 
I figured it wouldn’t work. I asked because guy with the cross member is also selling this.

Nope, won't work.

Still looking for my thread with all the pics of different plates.
