You realize there are 3 different variations of 208 'plates?

Need to know what year the truck is. And if you can take a pic of the t-case crossmember, too.

nope, didn't realize that. Its for my 88 k5. I'll snap a pick when i get some daylight. this is the first rig i've had that didn't come with one :dunno:

Ok, you need the 'plate that fits from '87 to '91.

I have a thread with details and pics of the different plates. Let me look for it.

Jason, if one from a 205 will work I have one laying around you can have for a couple bucks.

Hey, Jeff! Long time!

I guess if it fit the single hump style cross member...

Unless you have some scrap laying around that we could make one out of...

Nice work bud, swing out sometime and we'll fit it up and see if you haven't found anything else. Worse case is we can modify it to fit what you need.

That 'plate fits the '87 to '91 'members.

Okay fellas, at the risk of looking stupid, I'm going to say that my truck hasn't had a skidplate on it since I got it. In fact, I didn't know it was supposed to. Where does it attach? Can anyone please post a pic of the skidplate installed on their truck? I'd like to find one for mine too. Thanks.

They're not "supposed" to have the 'plates. They were purely options for the customer to choose at their liking.

Oh I see. Kinda like those cool factory tow hooks that only about 25% of the trucks had but everyone wants. Thanks. I still wouldn't mind having a skidplate though. I'll have to make a mental note...

COCHEV, What tube or pipe did you use on your rock rails. I made a set almost just like that last weekend and I am trying to decide how to put a step on them.

Thanks,
Rick
