Skid plate for np208

COCHEV, What tube or pipe did you use on your rock rails. I made a set almost just like that last weekend and I am trying to decide how to put a step on them.

Thanks,
Rick

You'll have to ask muddytazz. He originally made them for a burb. I bought em from him and had em on my burb till i sold it. All i did was cut them down and reweld.

I like them, but they are slippery as a step. I'm planning to put hurculiner on them

Sent from one a dem der smart phones

With 3" to work with you should be able to use 2" OD tube with plenty of room left to weld. For traction, I would find a piece of expanded metal to wrap around the top 25% of the tube.

IIRC i got one sittin in the backyard on a th400/208 i pulled out of a 84 3/4 ton diesel burb. I assume you are after the factory one?

Heres a pic of it attached to the cross member

That is called a torque rod if I am not mistaken, and I have one for you if you need one, I also have the 2 struts from the convertor cover to the front.

yes need it how much shipped to 94560

Well no need to ship, newark is not that far, I am sure we'll find someone going down close to you, ot you happen to come up this way.
If you want the whole setup 3 rods $30.
I would ship but no idea what something that long would be, I am sure it would be too much for what the part is.

i would be looking for t-case skid plate for 83k5 also
