Getting ready to slide the frame out from under the tub. New gas tank and sending unit but I purchased prebent lines for my 383/Carb. My thought now is to use 3/8 braided line instead so when I get the money for a Sniper or something EFI I don't have to replace the lines. Going to mount an electric fuel pump now also but realize I may need a higher pressure model when going EFI.

Any insight on the best way to connect the braided line to the sending unit or just use hose clamps?

Anyone used any specific type of braided hose?

I assume I can use it for the return line and vapor line also?

What year blazer? Truck? Why not use the lines for a TBI truck and just adapt them to whatever system you run? I’d recommend and in tank pump if you can after the issues I saw the fellas with external pumps having at Blazer Bash.

My thought was to modify my OEM lines near the firewall with brass fittings + farrows. Connect to SS flexible lines.

If you need a new pump (or will) there is little reason to mount one outside the tank. In-tank is the superior place for a fuel pump.

Get a TBI sender, get an EP381 pump, get -AN adapter fittings, and be ready for when you convert to EFI.

Seems about the most logical approach to me.

I assume you can adapt your steel lines to the -AN fittings, so you could run a short section of braided line, which IMO is a better option than running any sort of hose long distance.
