Basically as money is available, I will purchase something here and there to work on gettin it the way I want it. Right now mandatory things are being replaced and fixed.

Here's how it was when I got it.

I think he meant you've got a fresh project that is stock to start with...

I've always wanted one of those grill guards.

Ahhhh I gotcha now! The grille guard is coming off to be sprayed with bedliner then goin back on. Plan to keep it until a bumper replacement is in order. More pics soon

The interior before I started cleanin it out and up.

I was looking for some PB blaster in the shed, and found some black spray paint for plastic. Figured the console and other pieces could use some paint:

Had them stashed in the shed because at the time I didn't even have the truck yet.

Got the truck and was putting them on. THen realized that I had a problem. The center caps were for auto hubs, and I needed to do some minor trimming or buy a lift. No money to buy a lift or new center caps so..

trimmed a little on each side.

and sent the center caps to work with my dad:waytogo:

The How it sits as of now:

The project for this weekend if time allows is to reinstall the rear window and the cable I ordered from LMC truck. When I got the truck the window was unbolted and just down in the tailgate. No cable even connected to the motor. Everything electrical worked once I bypassed the safety switch inside the rear tailgate.

Yeah its got 33x12.50s on it now. I want about a 4 inch lift. Mainly play in the mud for now but later on after college I would like to go to trail rides and such if that makes sense. Bumper replacements front and rear, a winch, 35s-38s , stouter axles, bedliner interior, silverado bench seat, repaint it, etc

Looks good so far, nice project. I just picked up a stock 91 also. If you change those front seats let me know, I have the same interior.

There's a lot of guys doing things on a budget cause they're in college, me included. I know how hard it is to try and find money lol. Hell, we all do. Keep at it though man!

If I find some silverado seats reasonable I'll get them but I'm thinking about just having mine recovered. For the price of a bench, I'm thinking I could get front and rear seats recovered

Got my tailgate window back in . I still have to get the weatherstripping but have cardboard to keep it from rattling for now. Got bored after that so started ripping out the rubber mat stuff the PO had in there. Got some rust in a few places but will be takin care of that and then begin prep for bedliner interior in a week or two. Will get some pics tomorrow after work

also replaced the drivers side brake caliper that was stuck and put on new brake pads

I think it needed the pads. Darn PO's

The way I plan to fix this is use flap discs of various grit to get rid of surface rust and such, spray something (need advice) that will prevent rusting, fiberglass to fill the holes, and spray bedliner last. Also what bedliner is the best at blocking heat and noise???

Also used purple power cleaner, scrub brush, and water hose to clean the bucket seats. Had to go to class before i got the rear bench but it was bowed inward badly so a cooler full of water oughta fix that:haha:
