Slow Go on 90 k5_ ChevyToy04

haha yah it leans way back, im tall so it fits me fine, but my dad sat in it and was like wtf lol. I find it a pretty comfy angle actually lol.

Mine were through the floors, I rigged them to get me through the winter. This spring/summer I am planning on doing A LOT of work...

Either is prolly fine. Whichever is cheaper is what I would do.

Preciate it Deuling! The cheapest is what I want to use but I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." How much you reckon it would take to cover the entire floor section? 2-3 gallons? Pints, pints not gallons! 2-3 pints

I read a good many of the posts on that link today, pretty helpful. I think I'm going to try the POR-15 stuff.

Early birthday! :woot: Lincoln 125 HD Now just gotta get all this homework done so I can start perfecting my horrible welding skills :weld:

AHHHHHHHH YEAH!!!!! Your about to have some fun.

I just talked to my welding teacher the other day so Ill give ya some good tips to start ya off with.

When welding with flux core you must drag the tip, you cannot push with it because of the flux coating on the metal. So point the tip back at the beginning of the weld and drag it while keeping it pointed back. Also you want the tip (the inner copper tip) to be 1/2"-3/8" away from the surface of the material. with that, and figure out some welding patterns, (I prefer a small circular pattern) and you should be rockin.

Now go weld some SHHHHTTTTUUUUUFFFF!!!!!:D

:D They's no need in all that! I have welded all the scrap metal I can find laying around together, fixed my exhaust hanger, and begged my grandpa for some of his metal :haha:

Nice! That's the welder I have, it's been great so far! Also, on the coatings subject, look up KBS coatings. Apparently it's phenomenal and costs less than por... The guy who started the company used to work for por-15.

I hate everyone on this freakin website, they make me jealous in every way possible.

:haha: JK man, looks like you are having some fun now!

Thanks for that info buddy! I was talking to a friwnd thats restoring a 2wd chevy and he was telling me about some stuff, I can't think of the name right noe but it comes from one of them Snap-on trucks that goes around to repair shops trying to sell them stuff, but anyways he used it and recommended it and can get it for me for his cost, which was really cheap compared to POR-15 and rustbullet. Its local also so I'm putting that as the top choice.
