Only threads Ive found wre old and had broken links. Lookin for a teardown manual. Im havin issues gettin the topcover off and I thought the reverse fork had to be partially engaged but i'm unable to get it into reverse for some reason.

Gracias. Im mainly lookin for cover removal. I think reverse hasta be partially engaged but for some reason I cant even shift it into reverse.

It was outside before I acquired it so I will let it sit in the garage overnight.

Let it thaw for a bit, found a trail of water comin out so i suspected there was some ice build up. Got the cover off...ice about4" deep lol. luckily everythin looks ok so far, just a few bearings and paint, call it good.

Aw the good ol' AK Lived there for 4 years and am now very glad to be here in the Desert where it's nice and warm

lol. Yeh I had my fun in the states..figured Id head back where things still made sense.

I split the case so far, found a few teeth wore on 1st/reverse, and a busted 1st gear bushing cracked in half. lol. need a bearing puller to get the input bearing off the shaft..lil stuck, til then i cant split the shafts.

Lookin for websites that carry hard parts. Possible Reverse, 1st and a fork or 2.
