Smallest tires on a 1 ton set up

a skinny 34 will probly be a true 34 when aired up.while a aired up 35 x12.5 will usually measure a 34 as well.i run 35x12.5 and it is a lil harder on sharp rocks.you can shave the lip on the 14ff and it will be better at not gripping the rocks and getting stuck.the 13 bolt opsion does give you anether inch of clearance but has to be done right ot it will be weak and leak.but is a option.i wouldnt run under 34 and that is pushing it offroad for clearance.if you got em run em and then jump up to at least a 37 and that will help a lot in the clearance equation.that will be my next tire as well.

Running 37s w/ 4.56 gears out the same on the highway as a 31/3.73. The only issue i really have with 37s is that my 14 bolt (now a 13 bolt) humps EVERYTHING! the D60 in the front is only marginally better, and actually started running slightly higher airpressure to help the clearance.

Ran 33s on my k20 before I went to 38s. Pretty much plowed one heck of a trench with the rear end everywhere I went.

So sounds like kind of a waste of tons to run 33s or 4s.
