smell of gas? help me please help me

okay today was a great day i got new tires and some other stuff so i get home after i got off work and i took my truck down a routine trail right near my house go through it come home and go inside come back out and there is a fluid all over the ground leaking like crazy under my engine smell it and i breathe in the smell of gas oh what a smell .....so i pop the hood and i cant see any leaks up top so crawl under and all i see is gas coming down from all over well i have to move it cause were going camping so i crank it up and it stops but i turn it off and here it comes again i cant figure out where its coming from or anything has anyone ever did this please help me!!!!!

What kind of truck, year, make, model?

Dual tanks, single tanks, where are your tank(s) located.

Carbureted, TBI, Fuel injection?

What kind of trail, mud, rocks, logs?

Its a 1986 K5 Blazer and its a carb ...muddy trail....um what other info do you need one tank

Well its either a fuel line got snaged, fuel pump went bad/leaking, leaking from carb.

Sounds like a supply line leak.

When you start it, the fuel goes to the pump instead of the ground.

Path of least resistance.
