Disassembled the rear output shaft of my slip yoke 205 only to find the snap ring that holds the shaft tight to the bearing is missing. Anybody have an extra? Thanks for the help.

Not handy, but I'm getting a slip yoke NP205 that I plan to convert to fixed yoke in the near future... Unless the snap ring happens to be the same as a fixed yoke version too?

I checked a fixed yoke t/c after realizing the snap ring was missing, and the groove needed is not on the fixed shaft. The fact that there's a fixed yoke with a nut holding everything together eliminates the need for the snap ring, I guess. Am I on the right track with this? Right now without the snap ring on the slip yoke shaft, I have about 3/16-1/4 inch play fore and aft.
