yesterday it was just CLICK CLICK CLICK, you could hear the gear slide out but it would not make contact and engauge /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Great Truck

Nice set up. Do you think the 37's will fit with only a 4"lift? I have a similar setup and 37 would look great. I have a problem obtaining a calibration speedometer gear to correct my MPH. Do you know where I can purchase one? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

WELLLL, the kit was supposed to be 4" BDS lift. The front with the ORD goodies came up over 7" over the stock saggy springs, the rear came up 5.5" with the rear lift springs and a zerorate. Truck also has 1" body lift. So I'm thinking its closer to 6-7" of lift and there's plunty of room turn and hit bumps with the 35's in there. I'm actually wanting to bring the front down 1" or take the rear up 1" to make it sit the way I want (slight rake).

Yep 4.56's is the plan, waiting on some funds to come in then I have llines for the 4.56's I need, maybe a couple weeks before the 4.56's go in! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

went out for a drive last night and the ujoints clicked and popped alot with the new 35's doing the start and stop cruising, today I got my winaldi cable fixed up and went out for a test drive through the gears and the MTR's ran great up to 70+MPH no big vibes or road noise that I didn't have before /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
Now I just need the $$$ for my parts to show up so I can mail out the $$$ for the 4.56's so I can swap in the right gears for 35's and cruise on the highway /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

I know you've probably heard it a hundred times or more but man please don't put all that cash into the 10bolt and then run Iroks. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I put my 36" Iroks on and my d44 hates me for it. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif I couldn't imagine with the 39.5's. They are also going to be about the same height as a 42" swamper. Thats a lot of leverage on a 10 bolt...

Sorry to preach but I'm just trying to save you some heartache especially if it is your trail rig. I'm assuming your building it to beat on so you don't mess up your nice rig. Any abuse and those axles will leave you stranded with that tire. And then locked as well...

yeah I know I'm asking for problems but the 10bolt is in the garage and the DANA60 that everyone says I need is nowhere in sight! /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
putting $100 here and $100 there into a 10bolt is alot cheaper then $1200 here, $400 there...

I know what your talking about the strength and the reliability issues but the money is not there to do that upgrade and I'm not rock climbing... I'll be running muddy, sandy, some small rock trails.

SO PREACH ON BROTHER MAN! Once I bust a few 10bolts and I have $1500 sitting in the bank I'll find me a D60 /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

ha ha yeah I'm in a spot now where I drained my bank account buying my Iroks, then on my test run with them destroyed my gears in the 44. Now I'm trying to decide whether to waste $200 fixing the 44 or save up until I can afford the 60.

It's breaking my heart driving these iroks on the street until I make up my mind. I've done a bit of 2 wheeling since and am quite impressed by how well 1 irok gets me around, but damn do I need 4 wheel drive again. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif
