So, I had just gotten off work....

..and I went up to where Nick works to see if his doctor's appointment went okay. He had just got done checking out this blazer at one of the local dealerships. It's a '74 model, I think. Anyway, he drove my blazer to work (I can't take it to my work cause I work at an assisted living place for mentally handicapped and they would like, try to climb in my truck and fall off of it etc) and he drove it up to the dealership. I've got a big "Built Not Bought" sticker on the windshield. So, the salesman makes a comment, "It's cheaper to buy them instead of build them." *rolls eyes* It's very obvious that Mr. Salesman doesn't "get it".
So, he goes and looks at the blazer while Mr. Salesman is nipping at his heels. The blazer has nice paint, nice interior..liftd 6", 37's, and wtf? ARB lockers on a front 10 bolt and rear 12 bolt???
I could snap those in a heartbeat

So Nick asks the guy what they're asking.
Mr. Heel biting salesman mumbles something.
Nick says, "How much?"
Mr. Heel biting salesman says:
























"$14,500"
Holy moly!!!!!!! WTF? Do they think it's a piece of gold???!!!
Or cause it has pretty chrome diff covers?

I talked to five body shops. They said NO, the body is too old, we won't touch it! Didn't even LOOK at it!
