I'm making this post a sticky....

Awesome dashpad tech! I think we'll need a formal Tech Article for the site.

Lil Avery, it takes balls to post a thread like this! :waytogo:

You gave me a good laugh this AM.

I am surprised... You actaully made this sticky :haha: :haha: :haha:

lol...I know...I can't quite figure it out yet...now I feel obligated to put some actual dash tech in here...
I had to unbolt my cb because I moved the seat up and I couldn't get the TC down into 4Low so I was thinking about mounting the cb in the center of the dash like some others on here have done....
maybe I'll do that when I have time and put it in here....

Just checked this thread out for the first time, and it is funnier than watching the local cops when Crispy Cream has a sale going on! :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:

I thought I had seen everything to do with custom cars/trucks/vans, fuzzy dashes, smoothed dashes, lifted, lowered, leather interiors, fuzzy interiors, mild to wild, you name it I have probably seen it, but SHAVING A DASH is a first, and with clippers at that! :haha: :haha:   :haha: :haha:

i saw the sticky and wondered what shaving a dash involved so i checked it out. i just about pissed myself when i saw the pics lol. the funniest part is you actually used clippers. :haha:

lol thats what everyone else is saying...how the heck else do you shave hair that long and make it look even? lol
its not like I am going to give her a bikini wax or somethin' ;)

If I didn't have to go to that freaking retreat tomorrow I'd do a write up on how to shave a furry dash....:)
Maybe when I get back...lol

speaking of work in the dash area...today I was depressed b/c of some girl issues so I went out and bought a new Pioneer head unit...super nice...and the best part is (besides the fact that it has pre-amp outs for the subs besides the regualar ones...finally!) it has a remote...haha...oh and it doesn't skip like my old one...I drove all around town tonight hitting every bump in sight and it didn't skip once.
I also got some Alpine Type R 6" two ways so I'll get those in too but making the wiring harness for the head unit took a while so it'll have to wait for another day :)

That's an example of my patent pending time-release humor.....

Pretty low dosage on that one, so it took quite a while to sink in.
