I may get these. I haven't decided yet for sure though. I can get 5 of them at a very reasonable cost.

Now they are only 9in wide, so that's quite a bit narrower than my current 14in rims. I am slightly concerned with the tires being too wide for them. But then again I know plenty of people run around with setups similar to this.

So I have came up with a solution of sorts. This wheel is a single beadlock obviously, so the idea was presented to me to weld a 3/16 rod on the inside of the wheel as a inner beadlock of sorts. I'm never going to be running around with 5psi in my tires. My 7500lb+ suburban will squish my Boggers with 15psi in them.

What say you?

Ive used 12.5" wides on 8" for years on purpose because it squeezes the bead I and makes it harder to push off, no other issues
I don't see how running it as a beadlock would be detrimental.

I'd ask the tread width of said tire.
I think 13.5 ok, wider than that I'd be asking the beadlock guys...

The Boggers are 39.5x18. So they are significantly wider than the rims.

Now I have seen plenty of H1s ran as a single beadlock as the runflat is a PITA to install. They worked fine until 5psi or so then they would pop occasionally.

I'm thinking it will work fine, even without the 3/16 rod welded in the inner bead. But since the rims are already off and open, it makes sense to weld them in since it's such a cheap and easy to do and apparently it's a pretty effective solution.

Apparently it makes it much more difficult to pop onto the bead. So it does make sense that it would do the opposite too.

Likely more effective than nothing.
And a pretty simple thing to do while its off.

That is kind of my train of thought. It's definitely a MAW while it's already off thing and from what I have learned it simply works.

Guys have been widening and adding a bead to 16.5 rims for years. I vote yes
