So lets have a serious Cummins vs 6.5 discussion

Oh and the best wheel ever would be a recentered hummer with a stock wheel center for hub caps.

Lol good stuff I could really care less I think it's funny it just keeps coming up.

I really dislike my non turbo 6.2 we shall see if I like my turbo 6.2. Half the reason I'm rocking these motors is mileage.

I don't know many 6" lifted blazers on 37s that get 17 to 18 mpg. I fully expect that to go up with the turbo motor especially at my altitude

I liked mine OK, down low it felt like a rocket, up top not so much. I think in my k10 it would be great.

When we lived in Idaho I liked mine fine. I drove it to Salt Lake and Boise several times. The lower the altitude the better it felt. At 6200 ft its kind of awful

So you don't love Marty? I know he started everyone of those. Of course the arguments only correct snswers are: Manuals are best so are GMCs. Carbs make more power but only lobotomy candidates remove factory tbi. Big blocks are nearly always better than any other engine (except 427t and 366t). LS engines were designed by Ford. 2wds are only good for 4wd body donors. K20s and K20s are only good for K30 body donors. AC should never be removed and should be added to those without it. Stepsides are beautiful. 79 and 90-91 are the only good looking front ends. 205s are strong with a horrible ratios. Black wheels and wheels over 16.5 are horribly ugly and indicate the owner is a receptive "catcher".
I'm just here to see if Martin approves this message

Not at all. Your local Detroit Diesel Distributor can get you parts for an 8.2 Fuel Pincher.

Your local GM dealer has parts books for the 6.2 even if the parts are not stocked.

A 6.2 does not exist in the parts system at Detroit. They won't tell you it is an obsolete part. They will tell you they don't have parts for someone else's engine.

Martin

Martin, you know that we are agreed on this topic, even if we don't agree on how important/irrelevant it is. We spent a good 1/2-hour hashing this out in person last summer. I'm just teasing you. I wouldn't expect a Detroit dealer to carry these parts. I just don't think it matters (so it's fun to tease).

:waytogo:

You should see how often Craig Artzner's photoshopped GM brochures show up on Facebook and people think they are real.

I am not saying the ad is not real. I am saying someone may have changed the script.

Martin

It may have been modified. But if you want me to believe that, find me an unmodified copy. :deal:

The Facebook idiot level is astounding.

This is understatement. :doah:

Bwahahahahaha.

For a long time I thought the automatic vs manual was the most pointless debate ever. Even seen a couple GMC vs Chevy debates over the years.

This is the 6.2 a detriot or not is literally the most pointless use if the internet. Now squse me while I go watch funny cat videos

Bwahahahahaha (part 2).
