Sounds like the guy wants to get down to brass tacks. Money seems to be there. We'll see. I'm gonna call him back in a bit. He's checking with the misses. (which means the deal is dead)

Didn't know it was fer sale............what then? Building a rock buggy, aren't ya..........

then I'd buy a 'Yota frame and 22R. dual Inchworm cases, remove the bed, crappy Exo, and go wheeling.

I'd probably do a D44/D60 swap so I'd run 40's again with no chance of breaking them.

It would be fun to start over. Building is the most fun /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

it wasn't. but the terms of sale are simple:

Cash Only
No Recipt
Title and old VIN
Not street Legal

if he balks at any of it, no dice. I don't want to sell it. but if the price is right, I have to listen. So either way i win. 1) I get the money I want or 2) I get to wheel this summer

i don't see any negatives /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I guess I would sell mine at the right price too. But I dont think anybody would do something like that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

that's the trick. If he shows up with the appropraite number of one-hundred dollar bills, we might have to get down to brass tacks.

Boy that diet/workout routine must REALLY be working.....I don't think the "phat kid" I knew would have even fit in a 'Yota!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So a serious question:

Would the "cash out" of the K5 allow you to completely build the Yota the way you want....or does additional money need to be thrown at it? It would sure be a lot nicer if it was at least a break-even deal for you.

ps. Nobody will ever criticize you for hacking a Toyota.

no way any of us will ever cash out on these rigs. Blood, sweat, tears, and empty bottles of Sierra do not exchange evenly with US dollars. The price point is such that it will be a immediate fix of certain finacial situations that will facilitate the future construction of said 'Yota.

If interested parties are unable to intersect where my disre to sell meets their desire to buy, I will still be in possesion of said rig and prepare in ernest for the upcoming four wheeling season.

It is a win-win situation for me.

can you tell i just got out of a meeting?
