i baught a set of beadlock rims...i had gotten a set of tsl/sx in a trade for work being done brandnew i gave my rims to the owner of the tire shop to mount them..well it turns out that when i got them back the bead was not locked in the ring and the ring was just screwed on... so now what would most of you guys do in this situation?

Take them back make him dismount them take them home and mount them yourself :D . Is not that one of the good side effects of bead locks being able to mount them yourself?

Take them back and make them dismount the outer bead. Then take them home and tighten up the lock yourself so you know it is done right!

Take the air out, take the ring off, center tire, install ring, air up. That is what I would do. There is nothing that special about installing a bead lock other than they are time consuming.

do them your self as listed . then call or show up there and tell the boss the person dosnt know what he is doing and needs to be trained or not to mount tires.

i do tires all day and it is not rocket science guys. :wink1:
