Well, I talked to the guy the other day and he said things had came up so he couldn't take the truck. He said we could just have it towed away... WTF.
I told him that if he got it out of there, I'd see if anyone would offer him something so he wouldn't take a total loss.
Well, I went by today and the truck was still there.
I guess I'll see if he will give me the title back so I can pass it on to someone else. I'll let you know what happens. Dam it would make a decent one ton buggy.

OK, I'll try to reach him again today or this weekend and if he says "take it" I'll send you a e-mail or PM. Oh and even thorgh the tranny is cracked and leaks, it still will drive up on a trailer (last time I ran it). I'll be in touch.

I had this happen to me a few years ago. One year after pruchase the car was still sitting in the yard. I told the guy to give back the title and I would'nt charge him a storage fee. After I gave him my lawyers phone # he was more than happy to agree to my terms. I resold the car two weeks later.

If you were a repair shop/dealer/tow lot this would not happen because he would know that he would be charged for storage, or lose the van.
