soft top blues!!!

What is the word on full soft tops? Anything new. Like everyone else I'm still looking for a new fasttrac system like STC had. Why don't a bunch of you Colorado boys git all boozed-up and go "appropriate " the plans from the old manufactuer? Or somebody at least get Best-top to pick up the slack?

I agree, maybe we should all try to talk Steve at Offroad Designs into picking up the line of tops. Couldn't hurt buisiness. Only thing would be cost.

I think maybe I'll just hang on to the NIB Besttop Tigertop I have in my garage, It could be worth a couple of tanks of gas some day.LOL

I purchased my '72 Blazer and few months ago. Been getting a facelift since then. Paint, interior, etc. It came with a brand new and not yet installed STC Fast Track soft top. It was even the appropriate color after my paint and interior changes. Missing some parts, but is was mostly intact and got installed last weekend. I gotta say I feel really lucky after reading all these threads. I was able to use BESTOP parts to replace the missing parts from mine. I know it won't last long, but the windows are so clear right now, it looks really good. I will be getting one of those bikini tops this week. Rainy season is almost over here and I can be 99.9% sure I will not see another drop for a good eight months. But I don't handle the sun real well anymore, so I need something for a little shade.

I have an old Kayline style on the way.

It will do what i want for now, just keeping the rain off the seats and carpet. (atleast i'll just keep telling my self that) and I'll be ordering a snap style bikini style as well...

I haven't heard anything either. I actually had a black fastrack top I sold about a month ago. I opted to get me a single wall top instead. I know the soft top is convenient, but I felt I really didn't need it, as it sat in the box for 8 months in my garage. I think you guys should just consider a bikini top. If you have a full roll cage you could always fab something up that covers the back seat.

I fabbed up a canvas top and sprayed it with some camp dry stuff people use on tents to make it more H2O proof. Works pretty good.
