Specs.... um, its a bestop tigertop. Snaps across the windshield...

Install was interesting mostly because I didnt have all the parts to begin with. I bought the top used, and it came with the aluminum bed rails, canopy bows, and bars for over the windows. I had to call bestop and get some misc hardware (windshield attachment pieces, snaps, bolts for the rails... Total investment is about $280.

I started by attaching the bedrails using the existing holes and bolts. Then I drilled the holes in the windshield frame (GASP!!!!) for the snaps. Installed the bows and window rails, then started snapping in the softtop (had to do this in the sun so the top could stretch. Worked the corners and then down the bedrail towards the front of the truck.. I still have to install the tailgate snaps, and rear footman loops, and give it a good simplegreen bath. But all in all, it took me about 3 hrs once all parts were there, and if all goes well I doubt I will ever go back to a hardtop.

The best part about no hardtop was driving around and getting the "jeeper" wave from some tool in a stock yellow wrangler. I mean mugged him and kept on rolling. He don't know bout mah FULLSIZE VERTABLE!!!! :D

I've been getting the "Jeeper wave" all summer. Actually it's more like the "Jeeper jaw-drop". What a bunch of saps.

the jeep wave is pretty gay, but i get something else with the k5. other k5/jimmy guys give the nod. fine. bronco guys strut around thinking their so cool with their IFS and road-worn bfg all terrains. and everyone else gives a thumbs up or wave along with a "cool blazer, man" or something similar. one i don't like is, "did you shorten that pickup yourself or have it done?" my answer is "neither". that confuses them. ha.

That really turned out nice, do you have a rollbar in that?
Thanks! Yep, factory roll bar still installed. I will be doing some front cage add-ons soon, then extending the cage over the rear. Someday...

Cool, I was just asking because In case you were able to make it to the midwest meet & greet at badlands they requires a cage/rollbar for open top vehicles.

i like getting the "my rig is better" and they cant do a stand still or burn out.or when guys in for stupid duties pull up next to me and rev at me, i just dump my clutch and make my tires scream

ya know, it's still "for sale", but I am still going to keep tweaking it and wheeling... If the right buyer comes along, then cool, but if not, that's cool too.. ;)

I dont know man, I was going to do the same thing, then stumbled on this one CHEAP and snagged it up... I will shoot pics for ya, but you may have better luck just downloading the installation instructions from bestop's website... it shows every piece and how to install... that is what I was gonna use for plans.
