$4500. Gave $500 and change to my buddy for all his trouble. Aside from the gas tank he had to do a last minute Hail Mary alternator fix as naturally the Gen 1 light came on last week.
I took a total loss but I bought back when prices were still high before the gas prices went up.
I don't feel too bad considering I had a stated offer of $3000 with an assurance we'd never sell it for more and I had folks tell me to part it and I'd be lucky to make half that.

Good mpg, 4x4, 4 door SUV DD. Probably going back to my Suzuki fetish and getting a Tracker/Vitara. Looking at a '99 Chevy Tracker 4x4 4 door 4-cyl and 5 speed stick right now. Guy wants too much for it but otherwise seems like a good deal. Going to wave cash in his face and see what his happens.

Yep. I love the little things and they are quite capable offroad. I got my first after years of frustration with my '92 K1500 and was surprised how well built (if small) they are. Some good tires and they're scary fun.
