heres some pics of me just messin around with my friend, nothing major. And i currently have 31 inch ATs, came with the truck and look new. I wanna evantually grab 33 BFG for my 4 inch lift, but thats more cosmetic. My y pipe is shot and so is my muffler, should i get that first? Also, should i bother getting headers and messing with the cat or should a new y pipe and muffler be okay (lookin for a glass pack)

It's best to make sure that you're rig is in tip top running shape.
Cosmetics are next.

Get exhaust fixed first. Also, think about where your headed with your K5 projects. Meaning, do you want true duals or jus stick with what you got , Plan now so you only pay once. ;)

if you get a new Y pipe, it may get in the way when you lift it and may end up having to redo it. get tucked in to the motor and never worry about it agein, or get duels.

hmm it says most people say tires. And its even for the full system or only parts. Would headers and new pipe much much different in hp and torque?

IMO exhaust is the best mod you can do. Headers and good muffs (Not glass packs, they sound like poop). Even cheapo turbo muffs sound better than glass packs
Shure you can get new tires. But then you have a truck with nice tires with an exhaust that sounds like crap. People put their fingers in their ears, roll their eyes, laugh at you, and think what a POS

Glasspacks Raw?? I was thinking more like sick. As in sick

not cool.

I would def go with exhaust first, I think your best bet is headers with dual exhaust, it stays out of the way. I personaly like my single exhaust, I have a flowmaster cat back, very smooth sound. my drivshaft is very close to hitting my y pipe, Ill have to modify that soon.

well if i was gonna go with a whole new system, i would do headers with 3 inch all the was i way back, maybe hollow out the cat, leave it stock configuration as i like the way it looks any suggestions for headers if i go that route? Some that wont fall off or get loose all the time?
