well ive been posting on here for a while and have always had great help. so i think it is time i finally post some pictures and tell you a little about my truck
my brother inlaw owned this truck about 8 years ago when he and my sis started dating. it had a 350/465/208 rear 12b and a d44 front 6" lift with 35's. i always loved this thing and was actually kinda mad when he sold it. he sold it to one of his buddys for 5 grand and his friend really ran it into the ground. messed up the body, ruined nearly all of the wiring, did a shady motor rebuild, and then just let the once nice truck sit. i started talking to him about it and i ended up getting it for 700 bucks when i was 16. it didnt run but i didnt care. i had a 383 waiting at home for it.
2 years im finally getting it to a point i can start driving it and then the customizing will begin. im not going to build it too extreme, it will still be a DD. (it took me so long because i was a poor high school student
)
here are some pics
this is what everyting looked like after a nice bath. its still on little tires due to the weather rot on the 35s
Before and after wax.
the 383 with polished ARP bolt and some other shiney stuff. i hope the air filter is big enough
The new goodies i got today. i got a killer deal on these
and how it looks all clean and topless
