Man!, That is going to be one bad boy Blazer. Good luck with all the work ahead. Looks like you have a lot to do.
Hope you can bring it out to the bash so I can check it out in person.

Thanx Skye and Storm. I am hoping to get around 7 mpg, but who knows, i might get lucky w/ 8 or 9? With gas prices like they are, this wont be no daily driver, especially running premium, lol.

Post a pic of a 4 wheel burnout, you had that thing on a dyno before? HP? Torque?

Re: some update pics on the 502 install on the \'72 jimmy

I havent even started it yet, just going by the #'s GM gives me which is around 510 HP and i think 565ft/lbs. And yes, when its broke in, i will be trying a 4 wheel posi smoke fest, hehehe..........

It's a shame to cover that engine up with fenders and hood... You need like a plexiglass hood.

BTW: What prompted the new Borgeson Steering shaft?
What gauges do you have there? (I have a list that won't fit in my dash, trying to figure out what to do without...)

Re: some update pics on the 502 install on the \'72 jimmy

Hey Robin, its funny u mention the fiberglass hood, My friend was just saying that a few days ago. The original steering shaft pretty much fell apart when i was taking everything off, so, as i said to myself from the beginning, fix it right the first time, and hopefully never have to worry about it again. I should be getting the tires and hood on today, then it goes to get radiator mounted, Fan shroud, Tensioner bracket, gas tank, Roll Cage, etc......and hopefully firing it up real soon. I will keep u guys posted.
