Does that sign say it has a 502!? If it runs as good as it looks, I'd pay 4800 for it. But it would cost me another 4800 to get it here.

Yes it does say 502/th400/np205/tri-y headers/edelbrock carb+intake

I know its got a 14b rear and i think it was a D60 front with crossover steering.

That would make a nice 3+3 Forest service truck....

Actually if you drive up the road from this spot there is a 3+3 w/utility bed sitting behind an embankment. Dunno if for sale or even 4x4, same tan color.

It's sure as hell NOT a 73. Wonder how its actually titled.

I don't have enough fingers to count the guys round here that pull this off. Not too many people recognize the difference between round and square headlights.

Fenders, bumpers, drip rails, doors, fuel door....... every piece of body on that truck is from 81 and up. Either they moved the vin tag into a newer truck or it's so totally rebuilt using newish parts nothing is left of the original truck. And just to be a negative nanny- I'd bet someone has swapped the vin tag from the 73 into a 86ish truck.

Id by that it if it was here... I need a farm truck to leave in a VA and that 502 would go good in a malibu and shove a 350 in the truck...

Hey izzy, go by and copy down the vin #. I'd love to see what this truck comes up as.

Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to have it. Pure sexy. I was looking for something like it when I found my Suburban.

I'll try and do that.

I want to see him prove that it is a 502...

On second thought, I could put 502 valve covers on my 454 and have one, too!

guy I know got bit hard with a 454H.O. motor . . . . . . . turned out to be a 427 tall deck dump truck motor. :doah:

atleast it wasn't a 366 tho .

if he ever wants to build a big cubic inch bbc he has a great starter point now tho.

ammmm  is that a short bed on the truck also :dunno:

Holy crap, I was randomly searching 3+3 and low and behold..................
I might have actually found the build thread for that truck. Not absolutely positive, but MANY of the indicators are there. 86 cab, short bed, 4x4, color, size plans, bench front and rear, northern Cali.

Seems awfully simalar, looks like the same wheels, and dash pad, but the first truck has the ****ty door panels with manual windows.

He did a complete cab swap to an 86 3/4 tan all power cab, doors and all.

Hey, I,m gonna try and grab a few pics of the VIN and such today if its still sitting there. Should be on the drivers door jam right?
