:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: well im never shy about the fact im a chevy guy. nope im not bashfull to let anyone know what i think and how much i love chevys. an im not opinionated about the "other" brands at all... as long as yer not talkin about fords its ok to talk about the other guys   but seriously in a way i think that sometimes crossbreeding can produce good results. as long as yer not in west virginia. ie wrong turn. yeah. :haha: i kinda like the cummings diesel. but then again thats not dodge either. thats cummings. and they are so-so. didnt get along with the one i used to have in my 18wheeler though :haha: it probably knew i was a cat guy anyway :dunno: but another point of view to look at things from; if we didnt mix things up a bit and create new things but swappin in part y from brand x, then how would we learn more about our sport and how would we make new parts and products?

I've got a dodge engine in my Chevy....but I don't think it's funny. As a matter of fact, most who see it drool and want to drive it...so STFU. To each their own. I even like "pimp my ride"....different styles make the world go around!

:bonk on the head: for you. u must at least have relatives in west virginia. :haha: reread my post... the last line reads; "but another point of view to look at things from; if we didnt mix things up a bit and create new things but swappin in part y from brand x, then how would we learn more about our sport and how would we make new parts and products?":rolleyes::rolleyes:

Does that mean you can't own a Duramax cause its made by Isuzu. Think about it folks, Chevy does own Isuzu, but I don't really want "made in Japan" displayed anywhere in my rig cept the stereo. My point is, folks put off brand parts on their rigs everyday. The parts don't make the rig, the people building them make the rig.

man! what is it with people not reading these days? :dunno: he said he had a dodge engine in his truck which would mean a 440 or 318 thems dodge. but i looked at his signiture and yep it was a cummins... cummins has been makin diesels for a long time before they went into the dodge. so i was just pointing out that its not a "dodge" engine. just like the 3208 cat v-8 found in top kicks isnt chevy.... and no duramax isnt all chevy its a gm/isuzu. but thats beside the point ;) and i in no way laughed at a cummins engine in a chevy. i laugh a LOT and was laughing at OTHER things in same post. and at end of same post i wrote that w/o mixing things up we would have NO new innovations for our sport. read people read :waytogo:

I'm going to put a 5.0 from a mustang in my K20 because it's the best motor. :D

sorry i thought i was on a chevy truck site

youve got to be kidding me this sounds like a site for celebration of diversity than a chevy truck site i guess i found the wrong site for people who love k5 blazers.sorry i guess there must be alot of rainbow stickers in place of bow ties here.anyway this is america and being in the military i would die for you to have that right to do so.however i do love this site it is well put together, keep up the good work.may GOD bless and keep you all.

Daymmmm I was replying to the original poster. Who are you, the new Timmay? Like we needed another one:rolleyes:

And I've got a buddy that has a 350 Chevy in his Sea Ray...what's your point? It's not a Sea Ray 350. I know that cummins comes in vans, med duty trucks, ect ect, but mine came out of a dodge. My tranny did too, but I'm sure it was used in something else as well. Semantics man. :doah: :surepal: :screwy: :shame:
