Yeah, I think I will do the same. As for my 203 making noise, once my steering is finished I'm going to try and drive around with the front shaft out to see if it really is a balance issue. To be honest, the front axle should be shimmed up a little no matter whatJust to be safe,,,, I'm sticking with the neutral shut down and then shift to park idea.....
over the long run it may cause an issue with the sprag unit in the trans if you shift to park and let it ratchet and slam to a stop position every time....
