Something Ive Noticed About K5s

You know something else I've noticed...Big Ugly...to me at least...isn't huge. It's just a fullsize truck on 38's. Growing up I knew people with trucks on 44's and 12" of lift and other monstrosities. Grandma and Grandpa had a farm so I've been around tractors and combines and then in the Marines it was F/A-18's, CH-53's, C-130's, etc etc. It's just a fullsize truck to me...not much bigger or taller than any of the Silverados, F150's, or Rams at work.

But man, everyone thinks its friggin' huge! Like I'm driving a deuce and a half or something. When I first got it one of my coworkers described it as huge and camo so half the coworkers who hadn't seen it thought it WAS a deuce and a half until they saw it and talked to me.

my K5 is $65 my 96 SBlazer was $35

My K5 falls into a special multi purpose vehicle category that ran from 89-92:rolleyes:

Hey man I'll tell you what buying my K5 was the best decision I have made to date! I've had all shapes and sizes of different truck and built em all for hard core wheelin and my Blazer is hands down the most capable box stock and you start doin suspension and running gear upgrades oh man, unstopable!

I love my most recent k5, I have less than 500 into it, smooth on the highway and my friends love to ride in it. Something about a k5:D

Those are Michelin XL's in 11.00R16 flavor...military surplus and getting harder to find. Do a search on here for Michelin and you'll probably find quite a few threads about them.

Yup after having my first K5 right out of highschool i learned to love the roominess ;)

All i know is i have an extended cab truck right now and i could have never done what i did last night in a single cab :D

regular cab?? what's that??:haha:

i always get compliments on mine. everyone always says man id love to have one of those, then i always tell them you can find a lifted beater anywhere on craigslist for a grand or so. most new truck guys spend that on just tires.
