Saw this deal on craigslist, couldn't afford it, but couldn't afford to pass it up! 1990 Kenworth T400A. 2004 Kaufman four car wedge. It has the undesirable L10 cummins, oh well. I think it will be fine for this Size truck. And 10 speed eaton fuller.

How much that set you back if you don't mind me askin. Been eyeing something like this to haul a couple rigs.

Congrats Geoff. Now we will have to have a tow rigs of CK5 calendar done.

It was on CL for $6500. I'm sure he worked it down a little.

Still a deal if it's not thrashed.

Ok wade killed the suspense!! Haha. Yes $6500. In much better shape than I expected. Few minor details need to be tended to. But a great starter rig for sure.

Mines not real pretty, but then again, lots of the k5's aren't either, yep lets do it!

Now if I can afford to finish the blazer for bb15... I've got another k5 and a suburban that will go with me:pimp:

Awesome. Love it. Actually love the trailer too. I'm looking for something like a 40'er for mine. I'd like a landall or similar. But those are big bucks.

But Why would you say the L10 is undesirable?

This is how sad mine looks like right now. I just had to throw a generator and charger out on it to keep the batteries from freezing. LoL.

L10 or a derivitive is about all we run in the garbage trucks. Wasn't killer fast, but they were very reliable, and usually damn decent on fuel. Looks like an awesome tow rig set-up, depending on how the maintenance has been on it and how much you might need to do to get it up to snuff. :dunno:

I like the trailer also. Further looking reveals those are oil filled rear axles .

I can't wait to see more chevys and personal hauls with personal stuff and put on with personal time with personal tie downs on the trailer
