Don't sweat that, I got 146k on my 91 Jimmy and she runs A-1, still looks good too!!! Take care of them and they last forever. 1991GMC Jimmy, 350tbi, K+N, 33's, Warn hubs

350? No Sweat then.... I had three trucks just sold one...all have/had 350's

82 had 270+ on it and just sold it only 160 on the 350 originally had a 305 that the privious owner had the thermostat freeze up on and blew it....when i sold it a week ago it still ran strong and burned very little oil

my current 84 has a newer 350 in it with 8,00o on the engine and 145,000 on the truck...no sweat still runs great just rebuilt the transfer case....it originally had a 305 also that the previous owner said a friend blew riding the engine

my 85 has 223,000 on it 25,000 on the 350

If you think about it...as long as you take care of oil changes and stuff a 305 even will make it 150+ no problem

I had a friend whose uncle is the original owner of a 82 k20 with 275,000 on it just swapped in a new engine at around 250,000

Why depressed? I bet if you run a compression test you'll end up very happy with the results.

ya its just a stock tbi 350, ive changed the oil every 3k with syntyhetic oil, its just the idea that kills me. the only untouched part of the drive driveline is the motor

My 89 has over 150k on it. Blows a cloud when I start it cold but still runs decent. I put almost 3000 miles on it on a 5 day trip a few months ago.

Replace your valve seals. That will get rid of that cloud of smoke.

Man, you got it good!!!! My crappy ol' 305 has 145k and needs valve seals. I haven't had the balls to do my compression because I'm afraid of the results

. One of these days she'll blow up and I'll have an excuse to install a 350. Until then I'll have to make do........

I do know where you're coming from however. My 83 6.2 pickup had only 92k when I bought it. The day It turned over 100k I was sad.......

My '89 just turned 158,000 miles and it still runs great. I change the oil every 3000 miles, and I never need to add oil between changes. Like others have said, take good care of it, and it will take good care of you.

the body of my blazer has 300k on it. the engine has 180k on it and it was replaced in 93. the trans has 10k on it and the t-case has ? miles on it.

100k....just getting broken in! Heck the Lady's 79 is over 300K and just got engine number 3. (number 2 was a crappy rebuild that was in it when we got it and only made 70k.
My 75 I figure has about the same. My 70 Pontiac has 200k on the original engine and my 89 Supra has about 190k on it.
Have no idea what's on the 70 Burb.

It's not my damn planet monkey boy!
