Space between 5.3/6.0/th400 and firewall

I think my frame is so mangled. When I set up the drive train. I started at the motor and worked my way back. That was with a SBC 350. Even then I realized how close my motor was to firewall. Since my dist. Cap was barely touching firewall. Idk if I moved it that far back when I boxed frame and maybe moved the frame motor mounts back or what?

damn, that's a big difference between muddysub and yours. Have you thought about loosening all the body mounts and see if you can pull the body back on the frame a little?

Can't. It's all tied into frame with cage.

NM I see the ORD crossmember looking back at the pics.

Yea it's a small block Ord one tho. Im going to try to cut it down and possibly weld it in instead of bolting it. Since my frame is boxed ID have to cut access holes to get to bolts along frame.
